Panametrics XMTC gas transmitter monitors biomethane separation efficiency

Before biogas can be injected into the national gas network, sulfur, moisture and carbon dioxide are removed.
The efficiency of separating CO2 from the bio methane must be monitored and also the methane purity measured before it can be injected into the gas network.

The XMTC gas transmitter measures the thermal conductivity of binary gas mixtures (CO2 in CH4 and also CH4 in CO2) and sends out a 4-20 mA signal proportional to one of the gases in the gas mixture.
The efficiency of the (membrane) separation technology is thus monitored and can be adjusted if necessary.

The XMTC gas transmitter is part of a complete multi-stream gas analysis system for upgrading biomethane.

Moisture monitoring of compressed air and industrial gases Panametrics DewPro MMY30 Dew Point Transmitter was designed to simplify moisture monitoring of compressed air and industrial gases (Nitrogen, Argon, Helium, Hydrogen, Natural Gas etc.). It has a range of -90 to +10C Dew Point and transmits a linear 4-20 mA loop powered signal. The unit can also be programmed for a range of 0-1000 ppmv (parts per million by volume). Our design engineers delivered an economical transmitter in a compact package with an integrated sample system made of 316 stainless and equipped with an optional orifice to maintain the back pressure and control the flow rate. The orifice is sized to produce a flow rate of 2 SCFH (0.5 LPM) at an inlet pressure of 100 PSIG. The MMY30 installs in less than 5 minutes. Measures acoustically conductive liquid flows in various process applications The PanaFlow LC is the latest generation in permanent clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters for process applications from Panametrics line of ultrasonic meters. Accurate and repeatable measurement over a large dynamic measuring range due to improved signal processing compared to its predecessor the XMT868. Designed for most refinery or chemical liquids including hydrocarbon liquids, crude oil, lubricating oils, refined hydrocarbons oils, solvents, chemicals, water, sea water, and more. Automatic Tracking Window (ATW) feature ensures accurate flow measurements even when fluid properties are unknown or changing.
