The KEST-mixer is a magnetic coupled mixer for aseptic applications. It is designed for SIP/CIP processes.
The Zirconium Oxide (ZrO2) bearing material of KEST gives the mixer its unique feature: it can run dry without being damaged. This makes the mixing process much more efficient: the mixing can continue until the last drop of liquid in the tank, without the possibility of ruining the mixer. Another advantage from the stronger bearing is that it the mixer less vulnerable during transport.
The ZrO2 bearing can also be supplied as a retrofit for other brands of mixers.
The tank plate is to be welded into the mixing tank. Easy operator handling of the drive unit is secured by the KEST-lock connection, between the drive unit and tank plate. This KEST-lock quick connectors are also available for other type of mixers.
The range of the KEST-mixer covers mixing volumes of 0.2 up to 30,000 liters.
The drive unit can be supplied with a stainless steel cover which makes it easy to handle in clean rooms.
