Danfoss VLT Harmonics Training
The special Danfoss VLT Harmonics Training gives you insight into the phenomenon of harmonics and the damage harmonics can cause. You will learn how to avoid problems and unnecessary expenses.

Avoid harmonics and save costs
The emergence of higher harmonics is inherent in the use of inverters. Harmonic currents and voltages in an electrical system, however, lead to undesirable effects and even cause damage.

To provide insight into the origin and the impact of higher harmonics, Danfoss developed the VLT Harmonics Training.

Good estimate of harmonic distortion

The VLT Harmonics Training aims to enable the students to make a good estimate of the harmonic distortion in e power grid where frequency converters are part of, using the, by Danfoss Drives developed, calculation tool MCT 31 and a minimum of available installation data.

The course covers the technical solutions that will help preventing or suppressing harmonic distortion. Using the MCT 31 programm a few examples will be calculated.

Apply:
Considering the high level of the training a reasonable amount of experience with electronic drives is required.
The costs of the 1-day event are 195,00 euro excl. VAT and including extensive trainingsmanual, certificate and lunch.
The training is from 09:00 am till 16:00 hrs, with a maximum of 10 attendents.

Every training can also be arranged at your own location.
